CR-10 Style 3D Printer Z Reinforcement Kit

I've start to print some tall prints, and this upgrade really helped improve the rigidity of my frame. The added stability allows for mounting a spool on top reducing clutter and giving a more direct filament path.

This thing is sturdy! It didn't come with instructions, but it was fairly easy to assemble based on the picture. Perfect fit for my CR-10S

As there are many kits, and DIY projects that can be made generally using 2 tubes for support at approx 45 degree angles, I was drawn to this because of it's extra support by design.

The fact that the upper frame now becomes a box, adds strength and rigidity that totally lock the upper X and Z axis into place. No more vibrations especially if you mount your reel to the upper frame. It also give you extra places to mount other things such as lighting or cameras.

Shipping was fast although a little pricey, it was worth it to me. There were no missing parts in the kit, but there was something missing, and that is installation instructions.

There should be some kind of assembly instructions if even a diagram. I was forced to find something on line to get a clue as to what I needed to do to get this thing together. This is my one negative aspect of the kit.

Overall I give it a 5 star rating for ease of assembly once you find instructions for assembly. Quality, and no missing parts was a plus for me also.

Would I recommend this kit or buy it again, the answer is I would. If your looking for the ultimate upper support for you CR-10, CR-10S, or Tevo Tornado, I believe this is your last stop.
