    Prints very well

Posted by Clyde Lindsey on Mar 10th 2021

I LOVE this color. I used the Zyltech GearV2 and this filament to print out parts for my Prusa MK3s clone. The parts look amazing, and I couldn't be happier. Prusa uses their Prusament Orange color but I wanted something unique. All of Zyltech's filament seems to print and lay like butter. Very happy with the quality and ease of use. Here is a link to the results in the Zyltech FB group.

    A must have

Posted by Bruce Bachman on Oct 31st 2020

Good adhesion which makes for an easy print. The finer the resolution of the print the better this looks. Very impressed. Once past the first or second layer the nozzle temp can be turned down to 205 and zero stringing occurs.
Have been ordering from Zyltech now for a few months and they ship quick, have good prices and provide good products.

Beautiful Orange Once You are Dialed In!

Posted by Jeremy Wayment on Oct 28th 2020

I had the worst time trying to get this filament dialed in, but I think despite the couple years I've been dipping my toes in 3D printing, I think it is mostly my lack of understanding about how certain filaments work.

That said, once I got my settings dialed in, it printed beautifully. Nice clean layer lines and layers. It has a decent clarity. Of course you lose some of that when you print with it, but you can still see the infill and the vases are almost as clear as the original filament.

Some information for anyone who has the same problems I had:

So I read that PETG isn't that fond of fans, I guess I really should have taken that to heart, because that fixed all my issues.
These are my Ender 3 settings that worked great (Cura):
    Nozzle: 230c
    Bed: 80c
    Initial Layer: 0.3mm
Initial Layer Speed: 15mm/s (I think it can handle higher though)
    Retraction: 6mm
Retraction Speed: 40mm/s (I think 35 is recommended)
The magic number, FAN SPEED: 5%

    Happy printing!
