If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. Carbon Fiber PLA New Favorite!

Posted by Cory J on Sep 25th 2023

ZYLtech you just keep amazing me every time I try something new. This stuff prints like a dream. I am printing at 225c with a .06 hardened steel nozzle. Layers are perfect, probably some of the best prints I have ever done. This might be my new go to filament!

    Great PLA-CF

Posted by Keith Ressler on May 3rd 2022

I'm on my second spool of this filament and really enjoying it. I don't normally use PLA but I had purchased some awhile ago without a use in mind and decided to try it for an MPCNC build where they recommend PLA and the added bonus of CF seemed ideal. I haven't done any strength tests or anything but it prints great, layer lines are invisible and it has a really nice finish. I'm using a generic V6 style hardened steel nozzle and I bumped the temperature to 215 after doing my tuning and calibration.

This is my first experience with carbon filament, and I have to say I am very pleased! Everything is better than regular PLA - finish, support separation, stringing, etc. I wish it came in multiple colors, so I could print everything in it! I print it on an Ender 3 with a hardened steel nozzle @ 215deg & 50deg. I also upped my flow rate 5% compared to regular PLA.

    Great Filament

Easy to print; just make sure you have a hardened nozzle.
Gives a nice matte black appearance; CF adds some stiffness compared to regular PLA.
    I'm printing 225-230C with 0.4 & 0.6mm nozzles and medium high cooling.
