ZYLtech Gear features MKS Robin nano controller board.
Update June 2023
Marlin 2.1 for Gear V3, stock Marlin 2.1 firmware, added manual mesh bed leveling via G29 command.
There are two ways to configure parameters on ZYLtech Gear
1.MKS configuration file
Edit the Robin_nano35_cfg.txt file, copy and paste to micro SD card, insert to ZYLtech Gear, reboot
Most Commonly used parameters can be easily updated via cfg.txt file. Please refer to this official MKS guide about the details.
2. Marlin 2.0 file
Install following regular Marlin 2.0 installation procedure

Update 02/16/2020, PID value changed, printer area limit fixed
Update 03/01/2020, fixed graphics. Please copy two folders and two files to micro sd card, then power off and on

2.1 V2 ZYLtech Gear Robin Nano firmware including graphics
Update 03/03/2020, fixed steps per mm value for Gear V2. ZYLtech Gear V2 uses 0.9° stepper on X and Y thus, steps per mm values on X and Y double.

However, we are not capable of providing customized firmware for each customer at this moment. The files and instructions provided above are only for advanced users. Any damage caused by modification of firmware will not be covered by the warranty on ZYLtech Gear printer.
In addition, Github, marlinfw.org, and many other websites and youtube channels are great resource to learn and explore the endless possibility of open-source software and hardware. We will focus on improving our quality control and optimizing ZYLtech Gear's performance.
