    Great sample at great prices

    I ordered several samples over the last few months. I can test the water or print a small project with buying a whole role. Sometimes it's to see if I (or my wife) likes the colors, or to try a new material like TPU.

    Came as expected, but had strange packaging

    I ordered something like eight different PLA samples at once. For some reason, they came shipped in four different kinds of bags. Resealable, antistatic, heat-sealed, and some others.

    A Smart Decision

    Let me start this off by saying this is my first purchase from Zyltech and therefore my first experience with them as a company. I ordered 10 samples of different colors of PLA to try out and not only did I recieve the 10 I ordered, but I got 5 more colors of PLA as well! Kudos Zyltech that's how you get customers to come back.

    On top of that, the amount of each sample exceeded the 5m in length that they promised. In fact the shortest sample length I received was 5.36m and the longest was 14.42m with an average across all 15 samples of 7.53m. In weight that's 16g for the smallest and 43g for the largest. More than plenty to print at least 1 sample card that I print out for every filament I purchase.

    As far as the quality, I had no issues printing any of the samples. No popping from trapped water, no clogs, nothing. The tolerance of the diameter of the filament seems to be pretty tight across all samples as well and there were no kinks like you would see in a badly rolled spool of cheap filament.

    Overall I'm extremely happy with my decision to purchase these samples and will definitely be making a larger purchase of a few 1kg spools of Zyltech filament and maybe even one of their monster sized Texas rolls just to save some money for printing things in the prototype phase in White, Black, or Gray.

    If you're unsure if you want to buy a full roll from a company you have no experience with or you want to see how a specific color looks post-print, just go ahead and grab these samples. You won't regret it!
