    Excellent

This was my first time using TPU. The Zyltech happened to be on sale and I was not disappointed at all! Once dialed in, this was used to make gauntlets for The Witch King of Angmar cosplay. it was very easy to use. Almost no stringing. Very economical and quality product!

Filament needs drying, but prints very nicely indeed

Posted by Perry on Mar 17th 2022

Like every other brand of TPU, you need to dry this filament out (I use an air dryer/dehydrator at 135-140 F for 4-6 hours). Once that is done, then the filament prints very nicely with a glossy finish and excellent first layer flow. Sure wish you made it in green, you'd get all my Priline/3D Best-Q business (which in the Big Scheme of things ain't much...).

Wet filament, right out of the bag

Posted by Perry on Mar 15th 2022

Sadly, this is similar to any other TPU I can find, regardless of vacuum packing and an included silica gel pack, the filament must be dried before use or it will bubble when run through the extruder. On the positive side, they wrap their spools far less tightly than other brands, avoiding the deformation you get when the TPU takes a set from being wound too tightly.

I gave this 5 starts because of the value. Good, solid performance of the filament and a good price point.
