Easy to Print?:

A little more difficult to print than PLA but easier than ABS. We suggest 200-220°C.

This filament has a satin silky finish to it.  Looks great under a lit environment.

Although I THOUGHT that I wanted a silk or mettallic/shiny gradient filament, this Zyltech one is translucent and has a more natural beauty. Glad I bought this instead.

    Pretty rainbow!

Nice, high quality filament. Color is gradiated and changes color maybe every .1kg or so, so if you want a full rainbow, you better be doing a bit print!

    Slow Transition Rainbow

Posted by Brian Skoog on Sep 22nd 2019

This rainbow filament is wonderful! It slowly transitions from color to color, and gives prints a quality finish. This filament is well suited for large prints, but still workable for some smaller ones. I printed a cell phone stand and the color transitioned subtly from violet to peach, and I really like it! I can already imagine much larger projects for this color :)

Zyltech rainbow filament is translucent. If you need an opaque look, I’d recommend adding more perimeters than usual.

I’m hopeful that in the future Zyltech will offer a similar product that transitions quickly for use in smaller prints, rainbow filament has been really fun to play with!

Here are the settings that worked for me:
    Nozzle Temperature: 200C
    Bed Temperature: 60C
    Layer Height: 0.2mm
    Print Speed: 50-65mm/s
    Retraction Distance: 0.4mm
    Retraction Speed: 60mm/s

Color changes are way to far apart.
