with Marlin Bugfix 2.0

Things you will need:

  • Old 3D printer board configuration with RAMPS 1.4
  • Additional data cable for existing display or converted version of the cable.
  • A little bit of downtime for the printer that is being converted to make sure everything is working properly.

Download Marlin Bugfix 2.0 here

Please prepare and follow instructions on the Marlin Firmware site found here:

http://marlinfw.org/docs/basics/install_rearm.html

Make sure to follow the installation instructions for PlatformIO exactly. I had to go back over because I missed a step.

If you are planning on using an existing Display Controller there are some steps you can do to modify the existing cable to have it work, Seen Here. Or when you order your Panucatt Re-ARM you can request to have the cable included for an additional fee. Click Here

You can also find additional help with the layout of the boards here.
