Excellent quality for half the price

Posted by Omnifacture on Sep 25th 2020

I've used a few different brands of TPU and at this price point, the quality is unmatched. Usually, I see .5 KG at the $20 price point. ZYLTech is selling 1 KG at $22.95. For the quantity and quality, it's unmatched.

Had a small issue with clogging but other than that this filament has been a dream to work with.

    Black TPU

This was my first roll of the ZYL black TPU (I have used several other manufacturers black TPU and TPE). I was pleasantly surprised as to its properties. It's a cross between Ninjatek, Overture and Qbest materials. It is harder than Ninjatek but softer than Qbest but slightly harder than Overture. I like the mixture and will be using more in the future. I sure wish there was a white color TPU available from ZYL - I could really use it!

    Great Filament

Posted by William C. on Apr 7th 2020

For my first time ever using TPU, it was surprisingly easy to work with. The filament was easy to work with, but took a few attempts to accurately get the right temp on my machine. Had maybe 1-2 adhesion issues between layers but easily fixed with increased nozzle heat. The TPU is very nice and flexible as stated. Would recommened getting a sample before getting a full spool.

    Black TPU

Its not some super high grade/ high quality TPU but I didn't expect it to be at a a price point of $20. It seems to do the job though.
