The LCD smart controller hardware installation process is fairly self-explanatory, but feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Connect AUX, EXP1, EXP2 to RAMPS via adapter and ribbon cable.
To configure, search “//#define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER” in configuration.h and uncomment (delete “//”)
If the LCD powers up but does not display any words, the issue is most likely a problem with the connection. Unplug the ribbon cables and attempt to plug them in another way.
Press reset on RAMPS board if the characters are not displayed correctly.
